Jack D. Luks is a Founding Partner and AV® Preeminent ™ Rated, Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell. Jack has 25 years of trial litigation experience in State and Federal courts. As Litigation Director of the firm, he heads up the firm’s complex and high exposure trial team. Jack is distinguished for his results in defending all types of Premises Liability, Negligent Security and Negligence matters involving improper maintenance of the premises. Jack’s practice also includes Wrongful Death, General Liability, Auto and Trucking Liability, Product Liability, Professional Liability and Construction Litigation. Jack has represented a variety of clients including shopping malls and centers, grocery stores, retail stores, hotels, restaurants, nightclubs, movie theaters, parking lots, office buildings, commercial businesses, apartment complexes, landlords and property owners, insurers, and construction companies on a wide range of complex litigation involving serious injury or death.

Jack has a natural and acquired skill of convincing jurors of his client’s position, which has resulted in many defense verdicts or minimized damage awards. Jack has earned his reputation for trial results on large exposure, catastrophic and wrongful death cases. Many of his verdicts have been published on the front cover of the Florida Jury Verdict Reporter. Luks, Santaniello was named a 2012 Go-To Law Firm to Fortune 500 Companies for its handling of Florida Commercial Litigation matters by ALM. Jack has spoken nationally on the subject of Negligent Security, Premises Liability and Tort Reform. Jack is a graduate of University of Miami School of Law (1986).
